وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْمُلْكُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ ، وَالْقَضَاءُ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَالْأَذَانُ فِي الْحَبَشَةِ ، وَالشِّرْعَةُ فِي الْيَمَنِ ، وَالْأَمَانَةُ فِي الْأَزْدِ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ خَلَا قَوْلَهُ : " وَالشِّرْعَةُ فِي الْيَمَنِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ خَلَا قَوْلَهُ : " وَالشِّرْعَةُ فِي الْيَمَنِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Rule will remain in Quraysh, the office of judge among the Ansar, the call to prayer (adhan) among the Abyssinians, (the upholding of) the covenant in Yemen, and trustworthiness among the people of the tribe of Azd." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
Al-Tirmidhi recorded this report, but he did not record these words: "(the upholding of) the covenant in Yemen."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
