Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a stray sheep, and he said: "It is either for you, or for your brother, or for the wolf." He was asked about a stray camel, and he said: "What have you to do with it? Its belly is with it and its feet are with it; leave it as it is until its owner finds it."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
