عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ الْحَجَّاجَ بْنَ عِلَاطٍ السُّلَمِيَّ أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - سَيْفَهُ ذَا الْفَقَارِ ، وَدِحْيَةَ [ الْكَلْبِيَّ ] أَهْدَى لَهُ بَغْلَةً شَهْبَاءَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ أَبُو شَيْبَةَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: Al-Hajjaj bin Ilat al-Sulami sent his sword "Dhu al-Fiqar" to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a gift, and Dihyah al-Kalbi gave him the mule Shahba' as a gift.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Uthman Abu Shaybah, who is matruk (abandoned).
