وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : أَهْدَى الْمُقَوْقِسُ صَاحِبُ الْإِسْكَنْدَرِيَّةِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مُكْحُلَةَ عِيدَانٍ شَامِيَّةً وَمِرْآةً وَمِشْطًا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) states: Al-Muqawqis, the ruler of Alexandria, sent the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) a Syrian kohl container made of "idan", a mirror and a comb.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
