Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6667

Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives respite to one in hardship or makes things easy for him, Allah Almighty will keep that person in His shade on the day when there will be no shade other than His shade."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in all three books (his three Mu'jams); its chain contains a narrator, Ubaydah bin Mu'attib, who is matruk (abandoned).
