Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6555

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Gold for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, barley for barley, salt for salt and dates for dates are to be exchanged like for like, measure for measure. Whoever gives more or seeks more has committed usury (riba)."
Abu Ya'la recorded it as a narration of Abd al-Mu'min from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both); I do not know this narrator named Abd al-Mu'min, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
