وَعَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبَايَةَ بْنَ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ جَدَّهُ حِينَ مَاتَ تَرَكَ جَارِيَةً ، وَنَاضِحًا ، وَغُلَامًا حَجَّامًا ، وَأَرْضًا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي الْجَارِيَةِ ، فَنَهَى عَنْ كَسْبِهَا - قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : مَخَافَةَ أَنْ تَبْتَغِيَ - وَقَالَ : " مَا أَصَابَ الْحَجَّامُ فَأَعْلِفُوهُ النَّاضِحَ " . وَقَالَ فِي الْأَرْضِ : " ازْرَعْهَا ، أَوْ ذَرْهَا " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Yahya bin Abi Sulaym narrates: I heard Abayah bin Rifa'ah bin Rafi' relate that when his grandfather died, he left behind a slave woman, a (water-carrying) camel, a slave boy who did cupping, and a piece of land. Regarding the slave woman, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade her earnings. Shu'bah said: (This was) out of fear that she might turn to indecency. And he said: "Whatever the cupper earns, feed it to the camel." And regarding the land he said: "Cultivate it yourself or leave it as it is (that is, do not lease it out)."
