عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : أُصِيبَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَطَلَبُوا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ يُجِنُّوهُ فَقَالَ : " لَا ، وَلَا كَرَامَةَ لَكُمْ " . قَالُوا : فَإِنَّا نَجْعَلُ لَكَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ جَعْلًا . قَالَ : " ذَاكَ أَخْبَثُ وَأَخْبَثُ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ بِغَيْرِ سِيَاقِهِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ سَيِّئُ الْحِفْظِ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ بِغَيْرِ سِيَاقِهِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ سَيِّئُ الْحِفْظِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: On the day of (the Battle of) the Trench, a man from the polytheists was killed. They asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to let them bury him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No! And there is no honour for you." They said: "We will give you a payment for it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is even more vile, that is even more vile." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
