Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6423

Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the price of dogs, and he said: "It is the earning of the people of the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance); Allah Almighty has made (you) free of need for it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir as a narration of Ishaq bin Yahya from Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him), although the narrator Ishaq did not live in his time.
