بَابُ مَا نُهِيَ عَنْهُ مِنَ الْبُيُوعِ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَهْلُ الْمَدَايِنِ الْحُبَسَاءُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ رِدْءُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَثَغْرُهُمْ فَلَا تَغْلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ ، وَلَا تَحْتَكِرُوا ، وَلَا يَبِعْ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ ، وَلَا يَسِمِ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ ، وَلَا يَخْطُبْ عَلَى خِطْبَتِهِ ، وَلَا تَكْتَفِئِ الْمَرْأَةُ إِنَاءَ أُخْتِهَا ، وَكُلٌّ رِزْقُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ حَمَّادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَهُوَ مُنْكَرُ الْحَدِيثِ مَجْهُولٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) relates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The people of the cities are held back (stationed) in the path of Allah; they are the support of the Muslims and their frontier. So do not raise prices against them, do not hoard, let no town-dweller sell for a desert-dweller, let no man bid over his brother's bid, nor propose marriage over his proposal, and let no woman take her sister's vessel for herself. The provision of each one is the responsibility of Allah Almighty."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Hammad bin Abd al-Rahman, and he is munkar al-hadith (his narrations are rejected) and majhul (unknown).
