عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حَيْدَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مِنَ اللَّهِ لَا مِنْ رَسُولِهِ : لَعَنَ اللَّهُ قَاطِعَ السِّدْرِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ : لَا يَصِحُّ حَدِيثُهُ ، يَعْنِي : هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ : لَا يَصِحُّ حَدِيثُهُ ، يَعْنِي : هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ .
Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "This command is from Allah, not from His Messenger: Allah Almighty has cursed the one who cuts down the lote tree."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Yahya bin al-Harith, about whom al-Uqayli said: his hadith is not sahih (authentic), meaning this particular hadith.
