Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6260

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Sa'idah (may Allah be pleased with him), the brother of Sayyiduna Uwaym bin Sa'idah (may Allah be pleased with him), reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has sheep should take them away from Madinah (to the outlying areas), for Madinah is the land of Allah with the least rain."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Sulayman bin Masmul, who is da'if (weak).
