وَعَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " فِي الْإِبِلِ فَرَعٌ ، وَفِي الْغَنَمِ فَرَعٌ ، وَيُعَقُّ عَنِ الْغُلَامِ ، وَلَا يُمَسُّ رَأْسُهُ بِدَمٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَالْأَوْسَطِ بِنَحْوِهِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ : عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَهُنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، فَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَالْأَوْسَطِ بِنَحْوِهِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ : عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَهُنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، فَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
Yazid bin Abdullah al-Muzani narrates from his father this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "There is fara' (the firstling sacrifice) for camels, and there is fara' for sheep and goats. The aqiqah shall be performed for a boy, but blood shall not be applied to him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Kabir and al-Awsat in similar words, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
Ibn Majah recorded this report from Yazid bin Abdullah al-Muzani. He did not say "from his father," whereas here it is mentioned as from Yazid bin Abdullah, from his father. And Allah knows best.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Kabir and al-Awsat in similar words, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
