وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لِلْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتَانِ وَلِلْجَارِيَةِ عَقِيقَةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ ، وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ ، وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "A boy shall have two aqiqahs (that is, two animals shall be sacrificed for his aqiqah), and a girl shall have one aqiqah."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Kabir recorded it. Its chain contains Imran bin Uyaynah, whom Yahya bin Ma'in and Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), though there is weakness in him.
