وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : نَهَى النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنْ قَتْلِ الضِّفْدَعِ وَقَالَ : " نَقِيقُهَا تَسْبِيحٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْمُسَيَّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْمُسَيَّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade killing the frog, and he said: "Its croaking is glorification (tasbih)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, al-Musayyab bin Wadih, about whom there is criticism, though he has been declared trustworthy; the remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
