Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6072

Abu Ishaq narrates: I was sitting with Abd al-Rahman bin Abdullah when a man came to him and asked him about his son al-Qasim. He said: "He went to al-Kunasah to bring back lizards." The man said: "Do you eat it?" Abd al-Rahman said: "Who has declared it unlawful? I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) say: 'One who declares the lawful unlawful is like one who declares the unlawful lawful.'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
