وَعَنْ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ الضَّبِّ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ فِي أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Maryam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade eating the lizard.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Isma'il bin Ayyash, who is da'if (weak) when narrating from the people of the Hijaz.
