وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : أَهْدَيْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَرْنَبًا ، وَعَائِشَةُ نَائِمَةٌ فَرَفَعَ لَهَا مِنْهَا الْفَخِذَ فَلَمَّا انْتَبَهَتْ أَعْطَاهَا إِيَّاهُ فَأَكَلَتْهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ جَمَاعَةٌ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I presented a rabbit (its meat) to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) was asleep. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set aside the thigh portion of it for her, and when she woke up, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave it to her and she ate it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a group of narrators whom I do not know.
