Book of Sacrifices
بَابُ النَّحْرِ يَوْمَ يَنْحَرُونَ [ وَالْفِطَرِ يَوْمَ يُفْطِرُونَ ] .
The Day of Sacrifice is the day people sacrifice, and Eid al-Fitr is the day people break their fast

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " النَّحْرُ يَوْمَ يَنْحَرُونَ ، وَالْفِطَرُ يَوْمَ يُفْطِرُونَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The day of sacrifice is the day on which people offer sacrifice, and the day of Eid al-Fitr is the day on which people celebrate Eid al-Fitr."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Yazid bin Iyad, who is matruk (abandoned).
