بَابُ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ .

وَعَنْ ذِي الْأَصَابِعِ قَالَ : قُلْنَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِ ابْتُلِينَا بَعْدَكَ بِالْبَقَاءِ أَيْنَ تَأْمُرُنَا ؟ قَالَ : " عَلَيْكُمْ بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ فَلَعَلَّهُ أَنْ تَنْشُوءَ لَكُمْ ذُرِّيَّةٌ تَغْدُونَ إِلَى ذَلِكَ الْمَسْجِدِ وَتَرُوحُونَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ فِي زِيَادَاتِهِ عَلَى أَبِيهِ . وَفِيهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ وَثَّقَهُ دُحَيْمٌ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ النَّاسُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ فِي زِيَادَاتِهِ عَلَى أَبِيهِ . وَفِيهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ وَثَّقَهُ دُحَيْمٌ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ النَّاسُ .
Sayyiduna Dhu al-Asabi' (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: We said: "O Messenger of Allah! If we are tested by remaining (alive) after you, where would you command us to go?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hold to Bayt al-Maqdis! Perhaps offspring will be born to you there who will go to that mosque morning and evening."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and Abdullah recorded it in his "Ziyadat" (additions) to (the "Musnad" of) his father. Its chain contains a narrator, Uthman bin Ata', whom Duhaym declared thiqah (trustworthy), while people declared him da'if (weak).
