Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5854

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The best of the places to which people travel on riding animals is the mosque of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and the mosque of Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Abi al-Zinad, whom more than one scholar declared thiqah (trustworthy) and a group declared da'if (weak); the rest of the narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih.
