Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) looked over the graveyard, which was on the first route, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed with his blessed hand towards the area behind al-Dafir (here the narrator Abd al-Razzaq is unsure about one word), and said: "What an excellent graveyard this is." The narrator says: I asked the man who had
narrated this report to me: "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) single out the valley, and say: 'Like this'?" He said: "My teacher only told me that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) singled something out in this way: he pointed with his blessed hand towards the area behind al-Daghir. And we have always been hearing that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) singled out the valley that is opposite the House of Allah."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Bazzar something similar; al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, but he narrated these words: the word is al-Dafirah or al-Zahirah, and he said: "This is a good graveyard." I asked the man who had
narrated this report to me: "Did he single out the valleys?" He told me: "This is how we have always been hearing it, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) singled out the valleys opposite the House of Allah."
The chain of this report contains Ibrahim bin Abi Khidash; Ibn Jurayj and Ibn Uyaynah narrated from him, as Abu Hatim stated, and no one declared him weak. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
