Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5767

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not lawful to rent it out or its houses." (The narrator says:) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant Makkah.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Isma'il bin Ibrahim bin Muhajir, who is da'if (weak).
