Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah, and with him were Sayyiduna Uthman bin Shaybah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him). I pushed my way through the people until I came to the door, and as I got there he came out. I asked the two of them: "What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) do?" They both told me: "He prayed two rak'ahs between the two pillars." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) is mentioned in the "Sahih".
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Jabir al-Ju'fi, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared trustworthy.
