Majma al-Zawaid 575 — One who passes a day without increasing

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a day comes upon me in which my knowledge does not increase, then there will be no blessing in the rising of the sun of that day."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains al-Hakam bin Abdullah, about whom Imam Abu Hatim says: he is a liar.
