Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5746

Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood inside the Ka'bah. He said "Subhan Allah" (Glory be to Allah), said "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the Greatest), supplicated to Allah Almighty and sought forgiveness, but he neither bowed nor prostrated.
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded something similar in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
