وَعَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَقَفَ عَلَى الْحَزْوَرَةِ فَقَالَ : " لَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّكِ أَحَبُّ أَرْضِ اللَّهِ إِلَيْهِ ، وَلَوْلَا أَنَّ قَوْمِي أَخْرَجُونِي مِنْكِ مَا خَرَجْتُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood at al-Hazwarah and said: "I know that you are the most beloved place on Allah Almighty's earth in the sight of Allah Almighty. Had my people not driven me out of you, I would not have left."
