Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was travelling when a woman came, and her son was with her. She said: "O Messenger of Allah, will he have a Hajj?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, and you too will have a reward." The woman said: "What will his reward be when he stands at Arafah?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "His parents will be given good deeds equal to the number of hairs on the heads of all the people who stood at the place of standing."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Khalid bin Isma'il al-Makhzumi, who is accused of lying.
