بَابٌ فِيمَنْ مَاتَ وَعَلَيْهِ حَجٌّ .

وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ حَجَّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَوْ عَنْ أُمِّهِ أَجْزَأَ ذَلِكَ عَنْهُ وَعَنْهُمَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ رَاوٍ لَمْ يُسَمَّ .

Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs Hajj on behalf of his father or his mother, it will be accepted on behalf of that person and on behalf of both of them."
