وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَابِعُوا بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَنْفِيَانِ الْفَقْرَ وَالذُّنُوبَ كَمَا يَنْفِي الْكِيرُ خَبَثَ الْحَدِيدِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا بِشْرِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ فَفِي حَدِيثِهِ وَهْمٌ ، قَالَهُ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ ، وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا بِشْرِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ فَفِي حَدِيثِهِ وَهْمٌ ، قَالَهُ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ ، وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perform Hajj and Umrah one after the other, for the two of them remove poverty and sins just as the furnace removes the dross (that is, the rust) of iron."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Bishr bin al-Mundhir, whose case is different: there is error (wahm) in the hadith he narrates; al-Uqayli said this, and Ibn Hibban declared this narrator thiqah (trustworthy).
