Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5595

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(For the sake of attaining reward,) the hair is shaved only in Hajj and Umrah."
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, the latter in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Muhammad bin Sulayman bin Mismul, who is da'if (weak) in this hadith and in other narrations.
