Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5530

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Ansar said: "Sa'i between Safa and Marwah is a practice of the Jahiliyyah." So Allah Almighty revealed this verse: "Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever performs Hajj of the House or performs Umrah, there is no sin upon him in going around them."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Hafs bin Jumay', who is da'if (weak).
