Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5515

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited before Fajr, then he prayed six rak'ahs, after every two rak'ahs of which he would look to the right and left. From this we understood that these were two rak'ahs for every seven circuits, but he did not say the salam.
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains Abd al-Salam bin Abi al-Janub, who is matruk (abandoned).
