وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا اسْتَلَمَ الْحَجَرَ قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ إِيمَانًا بِكَ ، وَتَصْدِيقًا بِكِتَابِكَ ، وَاتِّبَاعَ سُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَارِثُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .

It is reported about Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that when he touched the Black Stone, he said: "O Allah! (I do this) believing in You, affirming Your Book, and following the Sunnah of Your Prophet."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Harith, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared trustworthy.
