وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدِمَ فَقَرَنَ بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ وَسَاقَ الْهَدْيَ وَقَالَ : " مَنْ لَمْ يُقَلِّدِ الْهَدْيَ فَلْيَجْعَلْهَا عُمْرَةً " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived and combined Hajj and Umrah (that is, he performed Hajj al-Qiran); he had brought the sacrificial animal with him. He said: "Whoever has not garlanded a sacrificial animal (that is, whoever does not have a sacrificial animal with him) should make it an Umrah."
