Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5407

Wabarah narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) say: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that the wolf be killed.
Ahmad recorded it within a hadith that is in the "Sahih". Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir as a "mawquf" report. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Hajjaj bin Artah, who is thiqah (trustworthy), but a mudallis (one who practises tadlis).
