وَعَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ نَفَرٍ مَنْ بَنِي سَلَمَةَ قَالُوا : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسًا فَشَقَّ ثَوْبَهُ فَقَالَ : " إِنِّي وَاعَدْتُ هَدْيًا يُشْعَرُ الْيَوْمَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Ata' bin Yasar reports this from some men of Banu Salamah. They narrate: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seated; he tore his garment and said: "I had arranged for a sacrificial animal to be marked today."
