Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5352

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seventy prophets have come to Masjid al-Khayf, among them Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him). It is as if I am (even now) looking at him: he is wearing two Qatawani cloaks, he is in the state of ihram, and he is riding a camel of the Shanu'ah tribe whose halter is made of palm fibre, and he has two braids."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Ata' bin al-Sa'ib, who suffered from confusion (ikhtilat).
