وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " حَجَّ مُوسَى عَلَى تَوْرٍ أَحْمَرَ عَلَيْهِ عَبَاءَةٌ قَطَوَانِيَّةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ وَلَكِنَّهُ مُدَلِّسٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ وَلَكِنَّهُ مُدَلِّسٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) performed Hajj on a red ox, wearing a Qatawani cloak."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Layth bin Abi Sulaym, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain). The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
