Al-Hasan bin al-Hadiyah narrates: I met Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). He asked me: "Where are you from?" I replied: "From the people of Oman." He asked: "From the people of Oman?" I replied: "Yes." He said: "Shall I not narrate to you a hadith that I heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" I replied: "Yes." So he said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "I know of a land called Oman, with the sea on both its sides (the narrator is in doubt about one word here). Performing Hajj from there is more virtuous than performing Hajj twice from anywhere else."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
