وَعَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ دَاوُدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : إِلَهِي ، مَا لِعِبَادِكَ عَلَيْكَ إِذَا هُمْ زَارُوكَ فِي بَيْتِكَ ؟ قَالَ : إِنَّ لِكُلِّ زَائِرٍ عَلَى الْمَزُورِ حَقًّا ، يَا دَاوُدُ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيَّ أَنْ أُعَافِيَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، وَأَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ إِذَا لَقِيتُهُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الرَّقِّيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Sayyiduna Dawud, the Prophet (peace be upon him), said: O my God! What right will Your servants have over You when they come to visit You in Your House? Allah Almighty said: Every visitor has a right over the one visited. O Dawud! Their right over Me is that I grant them well-being in the world and forgive them when I meet them."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Hamzah al-Raqqi, who is da'if (weak).
