وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةُ " . قِيلَ : وَمَا بِرُّهُ ؟ قَالَ : " إِطْعَامُ الطَّعَامِ وَطِيبُ الْكَلَامِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The reward for an accepted (mabrur) Hajj is nothing but Paradise." It was asked: What is meant by its being accepted? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Feeding people and speaking good words."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is hasan (good).
