وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي سَعْدِ بْنِ بَكْرٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُسْتَرْضَعًا فِيهِمْ ، فَقَالَ : يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ . قَالَ : " قَدْ أَجَبْتُكَ " . قَالَ : أَنَا وَافِدُ قَوْمِي وَرَسُولُهُمْ ، وَأَنَا سَائِلُكَ وَمُشْتَدَّةٌ مَسْأَلَتِي إِيَّاكَ ، وَمُنَاشِدُكَ مُشْتَدٌّ مُنَاشَدَتِي إِيَّاكَ فَلَا تَجِدَنَّ عَلَيَّ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " . قَالَ : أَخْبِرْنِي مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَالْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ ؟ قَالَ : " اللَّهُ " . قَالَ : نَشَدْتُكَ بِهِ أَهُوَ أَرْسَلَكَ بِمَا أَتَتْنَا بِهِ كُتُبُكَ ، وَأَتَتْنَا رُسُلُكَ أَنْ نَشْهَدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَأَنْ نَدَعَ اللَّاتَ وَالْعُزَّى ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " . قَالَ : نَشَدْتُكَ بِهِ أَهُوَ أَمَرَكَ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " . قَالَ : وَأَتَتْنَا كُتُبُكَ ، وَأَتَتْنَا رُسُلُكَ أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ ، نَشَدْتُكَ بِاللَّهِ أَهُوَ أَمَرَكَ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " . قَالَ : أَتَتْنَا كُتُبُكَ وَأَتَتْنَا رُسُلُكَ أَنْ نَحُجَّ الْبَيْتَ فِي ذِي الْحِجَّةِ ، نَشَدْتُكَ بِاللَّهِ أَهُوَ أَمَرَكَ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " . قَالَ : هَؤُلَاءِ خَمْسٌ فَلَسْتُ أَزِيدُ عَلَيْهِنَّ . فَلَمَّا قَفَّا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَمَا إِنَّهُ إِنْ فَعَلَ الَّذِي قَالَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ لَهُ طُرُقٌ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَوَاهَا أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَرِجَالُ بَعْضِهَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَفِي هَذِهِ الطَّرِيقِ مُوسَى بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ; وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ لَهُ طُرُقٌ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَوَاهَا أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَرِجَالُ بَعْضِهَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَفِي هَذِهِ الطَّرِيقِ مُوسَى بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ; وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man from Banu Sa'd bin Bakr came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who had been nursed among their tribe. He said: O son of Abd al-Muttalib! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am ready to answer you." He said: I am the delegate and messenger of my people. I will ask you some questions, and there may be some sharpness in my tone while asking you; I will speak with you, and there may be some sharpness in my tone while speaking with you, so do not take offence. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Very well." He said: Tell me, who created the heavens, the earth, Paradise and Hell? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty." He said: I ask you by that Being: has He sent you with what your letters have brought us and what your messengers have told us, that we should bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and that we should abandon al-Lat and al-Uzza? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes." He asked: I ask you by that Being: has He commanded you with this? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes." He said: Your letters came to us and your messengers came to us (and told us) that we must offer five prayers every day. I ask you by Allah: has He commanded you with this? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes." He said: Your letters came to us and your messengers came to us (and told us) that we must perform Hajj to the House. I ask you by Allah: has He commanded you with this? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes." He said: These are five things; I will not add anything to them. When the man had left, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If this man does as he has said, he will enter Paradise."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Various routes of it have already passed in the chapter on prayer, recorded by Imam Ahmad and others. The narrators of some of them are the narrators of the Sahih. This chain contains a narrator, Musa bin Abi Ja'far; I have not found anyone who mentions him.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Various routes of it have already passed in the chapter on prayer, recorded by Imam Ahmad and others.
