بَابُ صِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الصِّيَامِ ؟ فَقَالَ : " عَلَيْكَ بِالْبِيضِ وَثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about fasting, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hold to the bright (days), three fasts of every month."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
