Majma al-Zawaid 5169 — Perpetual fasting

Amr bin Salimah narrated: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about fasting perpetually, and he disliked it and said: "Three (voluntary) fasts should be kept in every month."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is hasan (good).
