عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَرِيفٌ مِنْ عُرَفَاءِ قُرَيْشٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ فَلْقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَشَوَّالًا وَالْأَرْبِعَاءَ وَالْخَمِيسَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ يُسَمَّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Ikrimah bin Khalid narrated: One of the chiefs (state officials) of Quraysh narrated to me; he said: My father told me that he heard from the mouth of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever fasts Ramadan and Shawwal, and Wednesday and Thursday, will enter Paradise."
Imam Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator who is not named, and its remaining narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
