وَعَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَقِيَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ : " رَمَيْتُ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ ، وَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ ، فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فِي وَتْرٍ " رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، عَنْ حَمْدَةَ بِنْتِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أُمِّهَا ، وَأُمُّهَا لَمْ أَعْرِفْهَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) climbed the pulpit and said: "When I climbed (the pulpit), I had knowledge, and I knew about Laylat al-Qadr. So seek it in the odd nights of the last ten."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir from Hamdah bint Ubayd, from her mother; I do not know her mother, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
