وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فِي رَمَضَانَ ، فَقَالَ : " قُمْتُ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ ، وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ ، فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْوِتْرِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمَدَنِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمَدَنِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood and addressed the people from the pulpit in the month of Ramadan. He said: "When I stood on this pulpit, I knew (which night is) Laylat al-Qadr. Seek it in the odd nights of the last ten."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Abd al-Aziz bin Yahya al-Madani, who is matruk (abandoned).
