وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : مَرَّ بِنَا أَبُو طَيْبَةَ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ . فَقُلْنَا : مِنْ أَيْنَ جِئْتَ ؟ قَالَ : حَجَمْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ; وَلَكِنَّهُ مُدَلِّسٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ; وَلَكِنَّهُ مُدَلِّسٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Taybah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by us in the month of Ramadan. We said: "Where are you coming from?" He said: "I have cupped the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
Al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Layth bin Abi Sulaym; he is thiqah (trustworthy), but he is a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain).
