Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4958

Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream, and I saw that he was not looking at me. I said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the matter? He said: Did you not kiss while you were fasting? I said: By the One in whose Hand is the soul of Umar, I will never again kiss while I am fasting.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. Al-Bazzar said: The opposite of this has also been narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
